Established in 1955, Farnham Dog Training Society has been proudly serving dog owners in Farnham, across Surrey and northeast Hampshire for the last 70 years. We are a Kennel Club registered, not-for-profit society, run entirely by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping dogs and owners succeed.
Our friendly dog training classes in Farnham run on most Monday evenings during school terms at Badshot Lea Village Hall (The Kiln) and are overseen by our Kennel Club Accredited Head Instructor. The venue offers excellent facilities, including a large hall with off-road parking, a welcoming foyer for one-to-one advice, and a secure outdoor area for training exercises.
Courses cost £45 for a five-week term and £80 for a ten-week term, plus a £5 annual society membership fee. To join, dogs must be at least 14 weeks old, and handlers should be 16 years or older at the start of the course.
FDTS Christmas Party
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking our Society guests and volunteers for making last nights party such a fun and successful evening. The bar and raffle donations totalled £139 all of which will be sent to the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.
Without our unpaid Society volunteers, the Party would not have been held - so a big THANK YOU to them!
Best wishes for a very happy Christmas and New Year. John McIvor - Chairman, Farnham Dog Training Society.
