Commencing Monday 28th April 2025 we will be running three ten week Monday evening classes. The 6pm and 7pm classes are now full. Spaces may still be available in the 8pm class for holders of the Good Citizen Bronze or Silver award.
6pm - these 45 minute sessions will be aimed at novice handlers and younger dogs and offer the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation to dogs under 12 months old. No previous experience is required. (April class is full)
7pm - these 60 minute sessions will offer the opportunity to take the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze assessment at the end of the course. (April class is full)
8pm - these 60 minute sessions will offer the opportunity to take the Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver or Gold assessment at the end of the course. (Places available but must already have a Bronze or Silver award)
All our courses allow puppies and dogs to progress at their own pace. Dogs must be at least 14 weeks old and handlers 16 years old at the start of the sessions. Where possible we will invite the youngest puppies to join the 6pm session.
Classes will run on Mondays from 28th April until 14th July (no sessions on 5th and 26th May - Bank Holidays).

Our next term for beginners and the Good Citizen Bronze award runs from Monday evening 8th September until 17th November (no classes on 27th October - half term break).

Established in 1951, Farnham Dog Training Society has been registered with the Kennel Club since 1961 and is a not for profit society run entirely by volunteers. We run courses on most Monday evenings during school terms at the Badshot Lea Village Hall 'The Kiln', Farnham, Surrey. The Kiln provides excellent facilities including a large hall, a foyer where we can offer extra help to individual dog owners and a safe outside area. They cost just £80 per ten week term, plus a £5 annual Society membership fee. Dogs must be at least 14 weeks old and handlers 16 years old at the start of the sessions.
