PUPPIES

We offer puppy classes suitable for youngsters from 14 weeks of age and under 10 months old:

COMBINED PUPPY STARTER AND PUPPY FOUNDATION COURSE. Runs for 10 weeks and serves as a gentle introduction to training. There are no expectations in terms of handler experience and it is suitable for puppies with little or no previous training. The course covers all the basics, sit, down, stand, leadwork, recall, care and responsibilities of dog ownership. toilet training and common behavioural problems.  The second five weeks segment covers handling and inspection to maintain health, food manners, taking articles away from your puppy and common behavioural problems associated with the growing puppy and young dog. The course offers continuous assessment for the Royal Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award with a certificate and rosette given to successful participants on completion. Cost £80 plus £5 Society 2026 membership.

Course dates are from Monday 13th April until 29th June (no classes on 4th and 25th May - public holidays)
